Traveling as Couple
The hotel room was nice, however because of all the disturbances by the bank of rooms across the hall from us we will never stay there again. When I arrived in the room, I noticed the shampoo bottle in the bathroom had a broken seal. Also, there was a razor cap sitting on the counter. There was some specks on the carpet. To be frank, I was a little grossed out by the bathroom. I contacted the front desk. They apologized and said they would tell housekeeping, but nothing else was done. They didn't even offer me new shampoo. I stated that I was unsure as to whether the room was actually cleaned. The desk person stated that the computer says it was cleaned. Good for the computer. Also, the air conditioning unit ticked / made a knocking noise. It woke me up during the night and I had a very difficult time falling back to sleep. In the morning I then over slept and missed the breakfast buffet. I told the desk when I checked out. They apologized and said they would let maintenance know. ...read more
